When I was a kid, I would go full throttle into things and have no qualms about the end results. I'd just give it my best and forget about the rest. As I grow older, I find myself to weigh my choices more scrupulously... so focused on the results that sometimes I forget to enjoy the path to it .
The act of balancing fun and maturity was not necessarily a cake walk when you were younger. But, you condition yourself to get better and eventually land there. At the end of all of this I now find that sometimes unleashing the kid inside each of us gets that much more difficult with all the maturity acquired over the years. Just a matter of being accustomed to changed priorities I guess. Mind you, its the kid that has as much fun as it possibly can (more than any adult).
There is a child inside every one of us, a child that is waiting to come out once in a while. It could be a courageous act, but let him get out now and then so you will know what fun truly means to you. How often do you unleash the child in you?

its ok to be a child sometimes....sadly i rarely unleash it ! when we get older we become more serious :-/
TPE- tell me abt it!
I often wonder why everyone around me seems to have grown up while I am still attached to the simplest pleasures of life like having sumptuous food at a new restaurant in town with someone u love; an evening bike ride; the excitement of watching a new movie at the theatre etc. I guess some people are happiest when they are doing what's commonly referred to as "just having fun". :-)
